- What is Testvocabulary.com?This site is about to help you to expand your English vocabulary by memorizing new words. The site offers exercises and tests, a concept of "word basket" and is built with self-learning in mind, at the first place. You can print list of the words you're being learning, and you also can perform online exercises and tests.
- Who needs Testvocabulary.com?Students in middle and high school, as well as those preparing for SAT. Homeschoolers, which take English seriously enough. Also, foreign students preparing for TOEFL test might find it very useful. The site contains over 2000 English words and expressions, and the level is ranging from 4th grade to SAT. Typically, English-speaking student won't need to learn idioms and expressions, that's why they reside in TOEFL section.

This site doesn't try to teach English from scratch; but it's rather an aid for advanced English students. Most of the words found in this site are not the most obvious ones, those are words that are not in everyday use in conversational language, and oftenly require special learning even from native English speakers. Particularly, the TOEFL section would be of a special interest for you, even if you're not going to take the TOEFL test.
This site is not for English novices, though. But if you read this text, you probably have learned English up to some basic level already. Therefore, Testvocabulary.com is for you too!
- What about user accounts on this site?We do not see any need right now; but it solely depends on user demand. This site is not about community, it's not about chatting or communicating; it's solely about learning English words. Therefore, we have no intention to introduce new features unless the users of this site will really need it.
- What is "word basket"?"Word basket" is a collection of your chosen words, stored in your computer. Respecting your privacyt, we don't ask your email address, neither offer you to open account with use, as many websites are doing today. When you add a word to your basket, your browser is storing this word on your computer; and we do not receive any information about you. Still, you can run exercises or tests on your chosen words, as if it would be a site section, like Grade 4 or SAT.

So you can just use your own word list without looking for it for ages.
